How SavingPort collects, uses and protects personal information.
SavingPort is a UK deals and savings publisher. Pixigen Ltd, trading as SavingPort, is the controller of personal information collected through savingport.co.uk.
Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, including IP address, browser and device information, requested pages and timestamps.
If you sign up for the Friday email, we collect the email address you provide and pass it to MailerLite, our email newsletter provider, so it can send you that email and let you unsubscribe. If someone contacts us by email, we receive their email address, message and any other information they choose to provide.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects information about how you use the website, such as pages viewed and general device and location information. It does not run, and no analytics cookies are set, until you give consent through the cookie banner or Cookie settings control.
SavingPort does not collect retailer payment information. Purchases take place on third-party retailer websites.
We rely on our legitimate interests to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website, prevent misuse, respond to enquiries and maintain appropriate communication records.
We may also process information where necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, resolve complaints or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
SavingPort uses CookieYes to manage cookie consent, Google Analytics 4 for consented website analytics, and MailerLite to send the Friday email to people who sign up for it. Hotjar is not currently connected to the website.
Google Analytics 4 only runs, and only sets analytics cookies, after you accept the analytics category in the CookieYes cookie banner or the Cookie settings control in the footer. You can withdraw that consent at any time in the same place, which stops further analytics collection. See our Cookie policy for how consent choices work.
Cloudflare processes technical information for website delivery, hosting and security. Google Workspace may process information when someone contacts us by email. MailerLite processes the email addresses of people who sign up for the Friday email, in order to send that email and manage unsubscribes. Google processes consented analytics information through Google Analytics 4. We may also share information with professional advisers, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
We do not sell personal information.
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, we rely on an applicable adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard.
Information may be anonymised or aggregated so that it no longer identifies a person. Anonymous information may be retained for longer.
Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, people may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict their personal information, object to processing, receive portable information and withdraw consent.
To exercise a right, email contact@savingport.co.uk. We may need enough information to verify the request. There is normally no charge, although the law allows limited exceptions.
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
SavingPort is intended for a general UK audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children under 13. SavingPort does not make solely automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Send a data-protection complaint to contact@savingport.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address a concern first, but this does not affect that right.
We will update this policy when the website, tools, legal requirements or data uses change. Material new uses of personal information will be explained before they begin.
